The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for July 24, 2014
Transcript:
Huey: Granddad, will you take me and Riley to go see the new "Star Wars" movie? Granddad: The theater is right down the street. Take yourselves. Huey: Well, I was hoping we could drive into the city and see it there. Granddad: Oh, I get it. You want to see it in a black theater... Well, that makes sense. You've waited a long time for this film, and we all know how quiet and attentive black folks are in movie theaters. I'm sure you'll hear at least half the movie... Huey: You say it's right down the street? Granddad: Five blocks, take a left.

I find teenagers to be the most disruptive in movie theaters. Chatting with each other, texting (with the screen brightness jacked up to 100%), pulling pranks on each other. Old people are the best though.

Better hope Child Protective Services doesn’t hear about Granddad sending the boys outside by themselves…
