Slang is slang. Can’t push it. This looks close to Cockney rhyming slang which is designed to be incomprehensible to outsiders, e.g. “Butcher’s” for “look”, long-form “Buttcher’s Hook”, from when people looked into butcher shop windows to see what was on the hook.

Many years ago, while in High School, I had the impulse to do something like this.
I began replying to various comments with the phrase: “Well, How about That?”
Within a couple weeks, half the school was also saying it. A couple weeks later, it sorta died out.
