Riley: (Sigh) ... Boring... Granddad: Where do you think you're going? Riley: Outside. There's nothing on TV. Granddad: 150 channels and nothing to watch?! Boy, cable costs money. As long as I'm paying for it, we don't waste television in this house. Did you know there are kids in Ethiopia with two, three channels, tops? Why don't you think about that for a minute... Riley: But I - Granddad: No buts. Another word and it' the golf channel until bedtime. ... Don't know what's wrong with these kids today... Wastin' good TV.

In my day, cable had everything. Nowadays, reruns are a thing of the past and you gotta rely on streaming to recreate the experience.

I can remember the days of 57 channels (and nothin’ on). Nowadays I don’t know if Mr. Springsteen would laugh or cry.

The Golf Channel until bedtime?? The horror!
I’ve played golf my whole life and enjoy it, but watching it on TV is really slow.
