Riley: C'mon, Huey! Thirty seconds. Huey: Hold on! So as I send these final words into the nether-reaches of cyberspace, I pray they are chosen wisely, as I pray we find the world tomorrow as we left it today - or even a bit better. To all the peoples of earth, I say with the utmost sincerity... Riley: Five, four... three... two... one... Huey: Peace. To be continued...?

Yeah, I remember waiting up to watch the news that night. Nothing happened. It was a big nothingburger.

I was too young to care about the new millennium, so I can’t relate to the whole Y2K thing. But if I was old enough, I’d be pretty nervous or maybe apathetic.

There were things that needed to be fixed. However, a lot of what the doom mongers were talking about never was a problem. Like anti-lock brake systems. Those don’t know nor care about the date. If they did, then every time you swapped the battery in the card the clock would be reset and the date would be wrong.
