Luckily for you, Al and Tipper have been separated for 13 years.

If it wasn’t for the Tipper Gore part, you would think he was speaking of DeSantis.

Al Gore is strangely quiet. All the other politicians are still spouting, but he did his thing, then left the scene.

I know Al Gore personally. I had dinner at his house a couple of times. I was dismayed at his divorce because they seemed to be the most loving, compatible couple anywhere.

And, in real life, he was anything but dull. Oh, he had a stilted, reserved style of public speaking, but a lot of us do that. But in private he was really a fun, easy-going guy who, unlike his opponent who people voted for because they thought they’d rather “have a beer” with him although he’d never stoop so low to actually hobnob with the likes of you, you really COULD have a beer with Al Gore — he genuinely likes and respects people, even people who aren’t rich or politically important. And he’s an actual Deadhead (like me) and, again like me, likes their older stuff like “St. Stephen.”

Republicans are really good at falsely characterizing their opponents and repeating their lies often enough that people come to accept them through simple inculcation.

I really hope one of the upgrades GoComics blogged about is the return of a zoom function.
