Yeah, but the “steel pot” was a good multi-purpose tool. Besides its intended use, you could dig with it, use as a pot to boil water for coffee, and even cook it it. It was a little heavy though but one got used to it. I don’t think you can do all that with the new kevlar helmets.
I was always amused by all the “different” people on Haight and Ashbury streets in the 60s – all doing their own things. They were like unto lentils in their [non] conformity.
@Susie Take your hate elsewhere. I don’t like r2varney’s comment either, but if you think there are no “liberals” proudly serving in all theaters, then you’re just as bad for your comment.
JMort19510: My father had a five-point circuit before farm-to-market roads. He was making some point in a sermon about bathing in a number-2 washtub, and noticed a parishioner trying to suppress a giggle. After the service, he asked what it was about. “Have you ever tried bathing in a helmet?”

Nice thought overall, but the Army hat isn’t “Krazy”. (Well, ok, it is compared to the Air Force but still..)

Crazy is not following the crowd. Sometimes different is good.

It’s krazy because it’s his Dad’s hat and so several sizes too big.

Only saw two hats in Weird Al’s “Tacky” video: Aisha Tyler and Margaret Cho, in that order; and Cho’s wasn’t all that crazy. Just (of course) tacky.

A helmet is seldom used to kill.It is usually intended to keep a person from being killed.
