OK, Lalo, why don’t YOU pay for all of the attendant costs of caring for these children who Belong in their Own country. We can’t meet the needs of the Latino community that is already Here…or that of African-Americans or, especially, Native Americans. Or, even more importantly, this country’s unemployed. You have the $$$…why don’t You take charge rather than putting words in children’s mouths! ;)

Don’t you have to go outside to tell them to get off of your lawn?

Totally unrelated to this issue, this weekend I read the CIA World Factbook on Honduras and Guatemala. What awful countries! No wonder people are doing everything they can to get their children (if not themselves) out!

Almost every comment today is nailing it, basically Lalo is indeed living in his own bigoted world.

just curious what the reaction would be if that busload of children were from Europe or Canada and were of the proper skin color

You’re awfully free & easy with other peoples money. Are you donating your income to pay for this? Are you going to the detention centers to help? How many of these kids have you taken into your home?

Oh, indie, your arguments are so thin. Maybe you should feed them more often. Did you watch the videos of the mob confronting buses of frightened children? They were, in fact, screaming. A lot. So no, I don’t think if you were to actually exercise your brain, you would think (think!) that’s what Lalo was claiming.

Poor indie. As usual, you fail to actually think. Let me do some of that for you. If we’re going to start talking about billing for impacts, the US is in mighty large arrears to the people of Central America. What with all the violence and oppressive governments we sent their way, and all the resources we’ve sucked out of them. I think you’d be in better shape just taking in the children who are running away from being murdered and calling it even.

Unlike Tea baggers , I pay my taxes and this is what my taxes should go for and it’s federal law to help refugees especially children. Amazing how the tables have turned, the least patriotic people in this country are the ones that scream the loudest about how patriotic they are

This whole thing is an organized effort. Let’s send them all back where they came from instead of letting them take over the USA one sob story at a time. At this rate we’ll be a 3rd world country too.

indie, indie, indie. I think maybe you need to do some reading before you get someone to type things down for you. Maybe take a wee look at ORMouse’s and Olongapo’s petty protestations about the cost of refugees? And maybe think that this is the same garbage vomited up by the Tea Party and Cliven Bundy Nation, the folks who don’t want to pay for the things they get? Maybe, one day, your brain will miraculously, Grinch-like, grow to be larger than a pea. Until then, I suppose it’s too hard to keep more than one thought going on in there and giving yourself some context. So sad.

He sure is. those folks learned to hate at the knees of fox n(o)ews. I hope they will see the documentary called “Outfoxed” people have learned how to distill fear mainly into rage about anyone NOT a cookie-cutter version of themselves. How can any mother see those kids through hate filled eyes as opposed to wanting to take 2-3 of them and bathe their dusty sweatfilled bodies and get them each a clean shirt and pants, shoes and sox, and a towel or blanket.

maybe they are not familiar with “there but for the grace of God, go I”.

The difference between you and Wabbit, indie, is that Wabbit is engaging in actual debate with those who attack him, and you think anyone who disagrees with you has a pitchfork with someone’s name on it. This is what’s known in psychology as “projection.” Time to check that log in your eye…

I stand by my original post. We need to take care of Our Own people First… There is only so much money to go around…‘nuff said. Oh, BTW, I am Not a Teabagger; nor do I prescribe to either the Ds or the Rs…I’m an Independent with a Capital “I” ;)
