Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for July 10, 2014
Transcript:
Marigold: Unicorns are allowed to make up eight new words a year, and no more. If magical new unicorn words were entering the world any faster, language would devolve into sparkly incoherence! It is highly... bliznoferous situation. Phoebe: Eight a year, and you're going with that? Marigold: All words are allowed a commitment-free audition.

I’m pretty sure Dana just made “bliznoferous” up from the top of her head, but for the fun of it, I went looking for any possible roots that could make said word. Found the English suffix “-ferous” which means “producing or containing the specified material,” and the Polish vocative of “blizno” which means “scar”. Thus, we could say “bliznoferous” means “producing or containing a scar” (I like “producing a scar” best, personally.)
If we assume Marigold is using the word to refer that the misuse of word-invention would be “scarring” to language, the word is actually somewhat fitting. Imagine that! :D

I think “bliznoferous” is a highly cromulent word.

Some one count that for me. and maybe if Dana goes too far Marigold will go to unicorn cord and we can see phoebe in a suit and tie.

So a unicorn was actually responsible for “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”?

“Cromulent” is a joke word from “The Simpsons”. It’s found in the phrase “perfectly cromulent word”, and the joke is that there’s actually no such word as “cromulent”—at least, not outside of Springfield. You can look it up in Wikipedia.
