All very patronising, but wrong. Most lottery players are under no illusions, but they’re realistic – they know that WITHOUT the lottery, they have zero chance of wealth. WITH it, they have “a” chance, however remote. It’s an honest dream, not an ignorant one. Without dreams, we have nothing.
