Sadly grown-ups are no smarter than kids. We know more but our ability to reason is reduced by the biases and preferences we develop as we grow.

Timing. I have C-SPAN playing in the background as I’m reading the Sunday funnies.

Sometimes I wonder if Heinlein was right and the only ones who could vote are those who volunteered to join the military and are willing to sacrifice their lives for this country (which would leave me out, BTW).

Sadly part of the problem is that we only get the choice of one dirtbag over the other dirtbag to vote for.

Yes Ruthie sometimes I wonder about youth to adults myself on decisions made.
