Not really. I fought with my little brother all the time, while protecting him from the outside enemy. When we stopped fighting around his teenage years we became good friends.
I agree with today’s strip. Couple of my mom’s siblings the sister got mad at her brother would not speak or have anything to do with him for over 40 years I will spear the details, when brother’s wife died much later she finally did get back with him. Lady who I use to work with had falling out with her sister then her brother. All three no longer talk. My sibling and I we love to give each other hard time and I lean on her when our mom gets bad and Dementia takes over. I know on my brother-in-law has nieces one who gets issues been in lot of trouble and sister now live together with their children, not saying why.
People are individuals. Different people and the ways they behave develop in quite different ways… even in the same family and/or in similar circumstances.
