My parents rarely told me they loved me, though, i knew they did. When I had my kids I told my parents how I felt about that. I told them I was going to tell my kids every day that I loved them. They never knew I felt that way. My parents are gone now, but the I Love You’s became a daily thing with them too. And we still do that with our kids, and no matter where our kids are, or who they are with, it’s a natural thing for them to do that., I don’t think some of their friends have had that experience, sadly.
