Wonder which computer show he’s hearing: The Kim Kommando Show, Into Tomorrow with Dave Graveline or The Tech Guy? (Yes, I listen to those computer shows myself)
I started listening to Car Talk before I had a car. Once I got a car I stopped listening to the show, unless I was driving when it was on, because I had less free time to just sit around and listen to the radio.
We briefly had an Atari ca. 1980 and I was struggling to get an inventory list started but I kept getting rebuffed by the computer complaining about my ‘syntax’. It got returned and it was 15 years before my son put a unit together that I learned to work with. On the whole I found DOS more fun to work with.

I’ve had my share of fun also; started with an Altair – long time ago.

My very first was a Timex (Sinclair) – 2KB RAM. Then I bought a 16K RAM pack and was really motoring!
My current one has 12GB of Ram. Times have changed, haven’t they?
