That so describes my last week

Then it would have been a waste of her time and gasoline. Most people I deal with will talk to you.

I have no enthusiasm for dealing with customers, so I found work where I don’t have to. But if I did have a cashier’s job, I hope I’d do my best to appear friendly, whatever I felt.

Still, everybody’s entitled to a bad day.

I’m impressed that they had the exact right change for the rocket ride.

Unfortunately, far too many people-like the cashier at the 99 cent store-really are that stupid

I have worked only one Retail job, I discovered how much I disliked it, I never took another one.

I would have just kept going…

I’m just the opposite. I like to go to the 99 cent store and keep asking “how much is this?”

A good way for Ellen to get back at her would be to give her the 99 cents — in pennies!

I work as a cashier at a $1 store partitime while I finish school and my internship…customers always tell me how nice I am. I have gotten customers who ask how much everything is, I just smile and answer $1 or less. I also get people who pay in change, I don’t mind…I have to be there until closing anyway.
