For those who don’t speak Centigrade but are handy with math: C to F: double it, subtract 10 percent, add 32. Thus, LadyKat’s 26C is 79F (or exactly 78.8F). Yeah, there’s some work involved, but until the rest of the world goes Fahrenheit, we’re stuck with it.
Beautiful, sunny, not a cloud in the sky, currently 84 degrees with no humidity here in central PA. Enjoy it while we can because according to Accu Weather, we will be having a Polar Vortex in mid- September. This has been a cooler summer than normal, even though we had many days of 80 + temps.
Our summer has been cool. Only a couple of days in the 90s and not a single day over 100 (we usually get 3 or 4 a summer). Most have been in the 70s. But the weather has been unusual all year long.
Rather hot, but in hot weather I don’t spend too much time outdoors. Every day this week we’re in the 100s (but under 110) and down into the 80s at night. I still prefer the Phoenix area. (and I’m feeling very happy today).

Great here too…. “they” keep predicting high 90’s for next week…but low-to-mid 80’s for this week …. again.

Last year was so hot and dry that I finally had sprinklers installed. This year, I hardly need them. 72F and raining, right now.

Abnormal – August is supposed to be hot here in Georgia and we are barely in the mid-80s mid-afternoon. We’ve had Januaries hotter than this.
