GEORGE WASHINGTON Philadelphia, 1776: George addresses the Continental Congress! George: My friends, now that we've written our Declaration of Independence, war with England seems inevitable! But fear not! With me leading our army, those Redcoats don't stand a chance! In fact, victory for our side is in the bag! Man 1: Washington's a goof general but man! What an ego! I mean it's not like he's got a city named after him! Man 2: Hancock's not much better. Have you checked out his signature?

Hancock’s signature on the Declaration of Independence was by far the largest of all. Quite an ego too!

Fact of the day: Hancock made his signature HUGE thinking that not many others would sign it, but tons of other delegates showed up, and still today you might find someone asking for your Hancock (signature) :)
