Reggie’s got rhythm. Chester, on the other hand, is a little removed from reality and is looking for the parade,

It’s not a drum, and it’s kinda creepy, but I just had to share it.

Reggie’s favorite song is “Wipeout”.

Reggie enjoys Mrs. Neeley playing the tuba, and joins them for 2½ blocks. He left Chester back on Ballard Blvd., still looking for an approaching parade.

Continuing on his way, Reggie notices Gene and Ted in Gene’s front yard….“Great Caesar’s Ghost!” he thinks…“What luck that I came along on Deuling Trumpet Wednesday!”

Alright! Could the morning work out any more perfectly? Reggie follows the that crazy cool beat of the Pots and Pans percussion section of the Ballard Cookin’ OnAll Fours Kitchen Quartet. Sure enough! Denis is practicing for tonight’s gig at the Tiki! Cool beans! Reggie opens the wooden screened door with his nose and just walks right in…..

After being shooed out of the house by Denis’s wife, Clementine, he strolls on home. Here, right next to where Reggie lives, the next door neighbors, Russell and Lois Beasley, chose today to start their ‘Public Readings of the Ballard City Council Minutes, with Cello accompaniment’ in their front yard. Now, this is truly a Whimsical Wednesday on Ballard Street. Reggie can’t hold it back any longer….he’s just gotta let loose…………..

LOVE all the comments and additions. The only comparable thing that came to my mind are the recent videos of cows being summoned by a trombone-playing farmer, jazz band or such. I have to wonder whether those were actually Pavlovian experiments (with feeding involved).
