Rob Wilco: Dude, check it out! My D&D characters guild T-shirt finally got here! I'm not too old to wear this, am I? Bucky Katt: I say go for it. Maybe you and the shirt will cancel each other's nerdity out. Rob Wilco: I'll ignore that. Bucky Katt: Ok, I was wrong. Your and the shirt's nerdness is cumulative. Rob Wilco: Dude, I'm not a nerd. Anyway the correct term would be that my and the shirt's nerdness stack.

The rabid sports fan is much more prone to violence than the average athlete. You couldn’t pay me to sit in the stands at an NFL game.

I usually have a lot of fun at football games, and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise. (Kidding, I have never been to a football game. I would like to go to one here at our local college, just once, so I can say I have been to one.) I’ll save the face/body paint for the real fans.

I just have to say, the sport fan hate here is not very becoming. Sure, it can get boisterous at the games, that’s part of the fun. When someone goes over the line, they get called on it.

Would anyone consider D&D a “sport”? If so, what does playing the “Halfling” position entail?

Exactly.

If I hadn’t been there when all my kids were born, I would think Rob was a long-lost son.

As a geek, nerd, and former D&D player this strip is awesome but should’ve been done by the folks over at PvP or Penny Arcade.

Nothing wrong with being a sports fan. War paint or not. Its just that the guy wearing the helmet carved out of a watermelon – well his helmet smells by the start of the 2nd quarter. … Other than that… a nice guy.
