“2B2 Squared”? did she mean “2*Bsquared Squared”, or was that just redundant?

I dunno. Because I was pretty good at math, my classmates thought I was awfully square.

…twice.

I took it to be “2 b squared” as a takeoff of “to be scared”.

Actually the blackboard says: "Math is nothing to be squared squared of.
