I know you're terrified of needles, Michael, but you need a flu shot. Just think about all the sweating, body aches and nausea-you don't want to get the flu! Because it would be redundant? Clinic
I’ve haven’t had the flu since 1993. Seems I don’t get the flu until I move to a new area. After that, not at all. I don’t get the flu shot either. My mother-in-law had gotten the flu shot once and vowed never again. She said the flu itself was nothing compared to the reaction she got from the shot.
The one and only year I ever got a flu shot is the one and only year I ever got the flu. It was long enough after the shot that it wasn’t the cause, but still, 45 years no shot, no flu (knock wood).
I use to get flu shots, all winter I kept on getting one cold after another, plus getting the flu. Seven years ago I stopped getting the flu shot and started taking 10,000 iu of Vitamin D a day, during late fall thru mid spring. I might get a sniffle or two but no colds, no flu. Also eliminated my S.A.D. (seasonal afflicted disorder).

Like the month long lingering cold/allergy from the flu shot is any better.

I have more demanding needs to spend my money than on flu shots, tax dept, student loan debt, mortgage debt, home equity loan debt, etcetera, etc.

I do react negatively to flu shots. I get the flu. So, if I don’t want the flu, I don’t take the shot.

Oh I forgot to include, all flu shots has mercury in it, putting a known poison into your body is not a good idea.
