Either way, he was hoping to see paradise.

He should go the other way. I’m sure Rat would love having 72 virgins…

With Steph’s luck, Rat will become the patron saint of cartoonists!

Maybe Rat could take lessons from Roger Moore (if anyone remembers that show).

Okay; it’s clear to me now. Rat is no saint. Never will be. He’s lucky to avoid being struck by lightning. Repeatedly. Seven times seven times….

I’ve got a feeling that Rat could put a whole new spin on “And forgive us our debts”, one which would, of course, provide him with inordinate benefits.

@Kali39I bet that was suppose to be curse of a 72 year old virgin for people who committed suicide and the jihad leaders changed it because no one would volunteer.

Don’t worry. Pig will pray for him. Of course, he’ll end up in Hog Heaven.

The old cliche’ is “No man is a hero to his valet.” I’ve often thought something similar about the saints: If everything that could be known about the saints actually WAS known, most of them would be kicked right off the calendar!

@hariseldon59—I remember Mr. Moore as “Simon Templar”. He turned down the lead in the movie “Dr. No” because he was too busy portraying “The Saint”!

Do your reading Pastis, there was a whole lot of bribery going on in the “dark ages”. At that time you could buy your loved one out of hell, reduce the time they stay in Pergatory and even put a hefty lump on the forgiveness of a grievous sin. 30,000 pounds, pesos, lira….your excused.
