Boehner will not allow a vote on the immigration bill because the executive ignores the laws already on the books. I write as a free-immigrationist, but I detest the dishonesty of the leftists.
There are far more important issues, such as reining in the constrictive bureaucracy choking our country (talking about the EPA) and killing our people (talking about FDA.) The per-employee taxes of ObamaCare have already destroyed any potential growth in the economy for the next ten years. To a leftist, “something,” in the context of Congress, means more destruction of individual freedom.
How times have changed. It used to be that the only mid-tern you had to be afraid of was in school. On another note Letterman had a great joke last night.“Congress is criticizing NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for not acting swiftly. You know you’re slow if your speed is being criticized by Congress.”
That leads to my question: Why is Congress involved in this thing at all? We have much more important things for the legislature to be concerned about.
With states like Texas & Wisconsin suppressing voter turnout with photo ID requirements Republicans are poised to recapture the Senate. We should be very afraid of even more gridlock for the next 2 yrs.
Democrats: The Republicans are not the only problem we face today. Republicans: The Democrats are not the only problem we face today. Both sides should look in a mirror to find the demons that are causing so much waste and problems.

Ever hear of Harry Reid? How many bills has the House passed that are still sitting on his desk?

It’s nice to see them agree on something once in awhile.
