Regardless of the reason, it is so good to see Farley. I was beginning to wonder if he had died, it has been a good while since he was seen ! ! ! ! ! !
gee, kids used to want motorcycles or a fast car with a roomy back seat. now they want weird haircuts, even weirder colors in it and more piercings than you can shake a dart board at, I love it!
Got my first cycle on my 13th birthday – my father took if for a test drive and crashed it, dislocating his shoulder. Father’s tool box was filled to the brim, and it took me a couple hours to resurrect my present. Now in my 50’s, I lost count of all the bikes I have owned, but my current V-Star cruiser is my favorite.
Anecdotal stuff here: My husband knew a guy down the street, Bob, who was about five years older than he was. My husband’s brother had a best friend, Jim. Both these guys were into motorcycles. Bob and Jim are considerably brain damaged now.
“Michael has added to his tally of animal cruelty how many times in this one strip?”
That might be true if he were actually twisting Farley’s ears rather than just fur. Farley, however would not have put up with it even once, so the fact that he stuck around is proof that Mike is not being abusive.
Both my father and my husband have been severely injured in motorcycle accidents. Both of them were the fault of the “other” driver (one lady blew a stop sign & ran over Dad, and one gentleman pulled into a HOV lane without looking or signalling less than 6 feet in front of my husband at half his speed.) Neither of them would ever be able to ride again due to permanent injuries, but both of them would if they could.
My Saint liked to lie in doorways. The kids would step over him half way, then kind of bounce and he would stand up and walk off with them….“It was an accident, grandma!”

Like in the US, do you get a driver’s license in Canada at sixteen? Wait until then, Michael.

Our 9-year-old daughter wants a motorcycle when she’s old enough. Since my husband has his motorcycle license, he’ll teach her.

HA! Love the jokes – my neighbor works on bikes; I’m gonna share this with him and get his opinion (good conversation starter!)

You’ll never see an oncologist smoking a cigarette or an orthopedic surgeon on a motorcycle.
