This strip is really no funny to close to home. Went through this with my dad who was 79. Susan no reason just wondered. axe-grinder I hope I answered your question yesterday.

The good news is a very nice day here sun is out and instead of enjoying 60 to 70’s we’re heading to 80 midweek. What happen to spring?

I think instead of a steady flow of funny, GA wants us to see all of life. It sure reminds me of times I have spent with loved ones, particularly my dad, at a hospital.

God Bless you all for the memories this brings.

Since Phyllis passed away it seems realistic that maybe Uncle Walt’s time is coming too. Only Scancarelli knows for sure.

Those are the coziest looking hospital chairs I’ve ever seen. The only time, thank God, I’ve ever had to wait in a hospital like this was when the boys were born. All they had at Ireland Army hospital were those torture chamber red plastic chairs from the 1960’s. You know, the ones with the broken backs that slide you out on the floor when you just start to doze off in. I guess it’s only fair that I was uncomfortable, my wife was the one doing all the work.

When the Grim Reaper knocks on my door, I’ll be slipping out the back; I AIN’T GOIN’. Or if I’m really lucky, I won’t be there when it’s time.
