The Go Comics colorist has Mac wearing the red scarf and hat of Manchester United (hack, spit) when Mac’s gear is clearly Manchester City, the colours of which are sky blue and white. For a City fan to wear Man U’s colours would be like giving an Everton fan in a Liverpool shirt: a sure way to start a fight even though the stadiums for Everton and Liverpool are about a mile apart, separated by a park. Of course the colorist is an American who doesn’t know the difference. He/she probably thinks that Arsenal is the only team in London. (There are in fact 9 teams who participate in the Premiership or the Championship in London.)
Let me tell you, no one person in Britain ever spoke like this! (And I’ve lived in both London and Manchester.) It’s a weird and inaccurate conglomeration, much as if Darby had learned it from (say) forty different radio amateurs…
“Butchers” is rhyming slang: “butcher’s hook” meaning “look”. BTW You’d say “I’m just having a butchers at …” but NOT “I’m having a butchers for..” Why? You just wouldn’t!!!

Can I call you back? We’ve got a bad connection, it sounded like you said, “wobbly”.

I have the peculiar feeling of deja vu. This strip’s moving down my lineup. This cat’s done this before and someone wants a vacation.
