My kids went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Just thought I’d throw that out there. They went on vacation to New York? Wait til they get a look at the hotel rooms. I’ll bet even the Motel Six has 100 sf rooms. What do you bet they eat fast food the whole time they are there. And if they do eat in a nice (for them) place it has a buffet?

Burl, as cool as 007, annihilates the east coast Millennials. Joy doesn’t know it yet but she will never forget this trip to NYC.

I think the other people deserve to be late for the show. I think they were rude to even the Pennys. Burl needs to set his watch now so they won’t be late for dinner. I know they are starving after the flight. I don’t like flying but it gets me there cheaper and faster than driving. Wonder what they are doing in NY anyway?

Yes, 2 old wins that. The Penny’s eating habits will never change (but I’m sure they had plenty of HoHos in their carry-on, or some generic copy).

    Joy hearts N.D.

And I especially like that Burl stiffs the jerks who Bogarded their cab (even though it was only his stupidity in time zones) but what is incongruous is that Joy “corrected” him or even was bright enough to realize he was wrong.

Reminds me is when we were going to Niagara Falls for our honeymoon. My wife wanted to check on how the weather would be. She was puzzled that the temp was going to be around 16 degrees most of the time (this was in October), finally, I told her that being in Canada it was Celsius.

Not sure if I am getting today’s comic….. Is it the young group that is actually being rude? I am not sure, for I have seen people line up luggage like that often at the airport while they wait for a cab…. for instance if they are in the sun, they will back up and wait near the building. Is that considered rude? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Me personally, when I travel by air, I am too keyed up (just in general, but also from psudeophedephrine (to open up my eustacian tubes), and also worried I will lose, misplace, or forget a piece of luggage while waiting, that I am always in the line with my hand’s or shoulders (straps) holding on to EVERYTHING I brought. So, I am often the only one standing in line, but have had numerous times where others have luggage in front of me, and they do get the cab’s ahead of me. I thought that was normal, and I waited in the line only due to my own worries and forgetfulness. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Obviously, Burl is rude for giving the young group the wrong time. Is he being intentionally rude because he wanted a cab first, or is he just rude inadvertently because he is a bit of a dunce?

Another comment on the bumber sticker, it says, “I brake for Nemo” and I’m sure everyone is thinking Disney’s Nemo, but the fact is that Nemo is Latin for No one, so the sticker says “I brake for No One.”

After reading it again, I still think the man was rude by the way he says it. It just looks rude to me still..
