Where I used to live, junk was a traditional Chinese vessel, name coming from Javanese via Portuguese junco.
Joe, “only” comes after the verb, not before.
I’m sure he could do more with left shoes than “only steal” them. But if the right shoes weren’t on display, he could steal only left shoes.
