Tony…. same as any image….If you can see it online, it has a URL:
Right-click the image, and in Firefox, select “Copy image location” or in Chrome, select “Copy image URL”…then it’s in your clipboard ready to paste.
The only way I know in IE is to right-click and select “properties” .. then you can highlight and copy the URL yourself.
There must be an equivalent on a Mac but I don’t know it, offhand.
Anyway, then you type
<img src="URL">
pasting in the URL you just copied instead of typing U-R-LThere must be quotation marks around the URL, and no spaces on either side of an equal sign
E.G. … the URL for today’s strip is http://assets.amuniversal.com/3181884018c301329b3d005056a9545d
So your code would look like this: <img src="http://assets.amuniversal.com/3181884018c301329b3d005056a9545d" >
That will post it full size:
It’s hard to read a comic smaller. But with most other types of images, the polite thing is to keep them less than the forum width….about 360 pixels wide.
You make them smaller by adding width=“width in pixels” (which will be a number) … the height will change in proportion.
Like this:
<img src="http://assets.amuniversal.com/3181884018c301329b3d005056a9545d" width="360" >Which gives you
Ladies I may have a solution to your problem. Get a box, mark it cleaning supplies and hide it in the laundry room. If I didn’t go into it so often, it would gather dust. Good thing I do so much laundry. BTW, has anyone seen the supersized M&M’s? Yumm

As for today’s REAL comic…Do you keep your purchases from your spouse, occasionally?

If it doesn’t work, it’s usually cos you left out a quotation mark around the URL or the width, or left a space next to an equal sign…
Also the URL must begin with HTTP… don’t leave that out.
There’s a lot of good information about formatting, images and links on X_Tech’s Formatting Guide
Image posting is at the end of the page… keep scrolling….:)

No more spouse – EVER, so no need for secrets. My boyfriend and I discuss our purchases as well as thinks we’d just LIKE to buy.

No I don’t. I’m a firm believer in show and tell, but I’m not a big shopper to begin with.
