The kids also need to listen to Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle” as a cautionary tale…

Clark and Paul, me too. I taught for a living and thanks to being in a union I have a pension…It ain’t a lot, but combined with Social Security, and a little part time work, I can live….I don’t know how people without pensions make it when they’re in their 80s….401ks run out after a while. Pensions are till death do us part….People have no idea what they are losing, as the concept of uniting, and working together, fades away….

Pro-union posts — what a refreshing change! Mine (CUPE) is providing a pension adequate for my needs.
