Can we talk more about King Kong Escapes? In 1962 the Japanese showed us that a tranquilized Kong could be lifted with helium balloons and then moved about by three helicopters serving as aerial tug boats, but not supporting his considerable weight:
But then, in 1967, we learn that just four helicopters, unaided by helium balloons, are able to lift and transport the mighty ape, as seen on Frog Blog:
Jukeofurl, I do have my own blog, but I’m not quite sure what you mean about reining it in here or anywhere:

Look through my older posts and you’ll find a lot of material inspired by Dick Tracy and the snarky GoComics readers who comment on the strip every day.
1) Though this 1967 film is widely perceived as a sequel to Toho’s 1962 classic, King Kong vs. Godzilla, it was actually based on the 1966 animated TV series known as The King Kong show:

2) Both the animated series and the live-action film featured a villain named Dr. Who. No relation to the time lord we all know and love.
3) Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster was originally written as a King Kong film, but Godzilla was substituted at the last minute.

Yes, the Japanese monster mayhem continues on Frog Blog! Note that this latest one, “Legend of Dinosaurs and Monster Birds,” is another offering from Toei Company, the same folks responsible for “The King Kong Show” and “Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot.”
That “Space Helmet Mask” is a plastic bag that kids wear over their head! Remember the old SNL skit where Dan Aykroyd played Irwin Mainway, the apologist for the company that made dangerous toys? This is right outta that skit.
Uh, grapfhics. Did you help yourself to the rest of Teresa’s dilaudid (the gilded rickshaw of painkillers)? Your spelling suggests so! (Just kidding, of course…)
