He’d do it if he knew the $15 one was, in fact, the Great Pumpkin. Couldn’t resist.

If the farmer told him that a bag of candy was hidden in one Ralph might spend the money; of course it would be a small bag in the biggest pumpkin. Just was is the pump kin to…squash?

hltrim52: And a few age in punctuated stasis: Blondie did it chronologically and then stopped; Funky did it once as adults; Sally Forth had it for her sister, but not her daughter; etc. Gasoline Alley, Doonsbury, and For Better or For Worse are about the only ones to follow the calendar.

$15? That’s it? Around here that price is for two sizes smaller at the patch.

I sure as heck wouldn’t buy a pumpkin with the price already carved in it.

The Great Pumpkin does exist. I saw him rise from the pumpkin patch once.

I’m with Ralph, I got a bunch of plastic ones at garage sales, for a dollar or less. Plus they don’t rot!

I agree on plastic pumpkins, and mine have lights which is better on my stoop.

Plastic pumpkins do not come with seeds.
