@BrunoAtheists no and Jehovah’s Witnesses. The former don’t have an afterlife and the latter don’t believe in Hell..@matjestaetLessee… The Christians would get mad and say El Jefe was picking on them. The Jews wouldn’t care one way or the other and the Muslims would declare a Jihad on El Jefe.May be best to leave that concept alone. But I do recall a reference to Jesus of Nazareth in the recent past.
Yes Justin did make an oblique comment about Christ in one of his strips. It was tastefully done in a style that could have only irritated one of us Christians who would have been so fundamentalist as to condemn Mythtickle outright even without the reference. Justin I have been following this comic since Sherpa days and have always been impressed with the art and the writing. The only thing I would ask would be a rerun of the Helen of Troy strip. No matter how many times I see it I laugh myself half crazy. The art work is that good.
Justin, a confession. The last time this ran, a friend of mine was having a hard time with the death of her dad. I printed off this page and shared it with her. It helped her in ways I hope I don’t have to discover for a few more years. Thank you.
Seeing how people of any nationality or religious belief, are under a death threat for the rest of their lives, for even drawing Mohammed, I ask that you do not do a comic that even mentions Mohammed big brother, you have plenty of other things in that creative mind of yours. I did like the suggestion of sending booty on another adventure, however I did miss him the whole time he was gone. Maybe his next adventure could star him in it…just a thought. :^)
I’ve done this comic for ten years now and I made this decision from the start: There’s no way I would depict a deity in cartoon form or have ‘fun’ with Islam, Christianity, or Judaism. I have made reference to Judaism and Christianity in the past in one strip or two but am always very careful to be reverent. The very last thing that I eer wanted to do with MythTickle is offend. That’s what you all have this comments forum for.I have used Hindu deities a few times, Shiva and Ganesha, but they’ve both given me permission so long as I depict them as ‘cool’.I have fun with Buddhism because I feel very safe within the arms of that, and only play with the concepts. Never the teacher.-Thank you all for your kind words and generous affection.

Boody could talk anyone to sleep! But he seems to have touched Sir Dudley’s emotions, no mean feat even for a born-again dragon!
