@Redkaycei RepocOur evil exploitation involves paying them for things which they possess but are unable to exploit themselves because they lack the education, culture, interest, funding to exploit..If they have iron ore but lack the other resources needed to turn it into stainless steel, it has value to them only if someone else wants it..If they have thousands of times the bananas — let us say — they can eat, they have value only if someone else has developed the shipping, handling and marketing needed to get them to those wishing to consume them and even then only if those are willing to pay for THEIR bananas rather than those of others..Just having something doesn’t make it valuable. You have to know what to do with it, how to use (exploit) it, get it to those who want or need it and do so in such a way that those others actually want it..When folks sell useless (to them) rocks, fruit, liquids, they are exploiting the buyers

Would The Right Honourable Lester B. Pearson be pleased of the UN – whether back in the 70’s when this strip was printed or even now? Or would he just be amazed its still in operation? What would he change, if he could?
