Mmm… canned peaches…

Sixty quarts soon last them quite a long time. Sowhat is she worried about?

My mother used to throw some brandy in her canned peaches. Yumm!

That was my Mom – the can-oholic. My Dad had to put up extra shelves in the basement for her “collection”.

Well, that’s a first!!! food stuff for keeps!!!

Opal is starting to act like a dictator! Give Earl a break.

Opal’s canned peachees would be safe with me.

She cans peaches so she can look at them? [rolling my eyes]

My mom used to can a lot of fruits not so much on vegetables then that ended. I did not pick up that trend.

When I was in North Carolina I had some home made pickled Bell peppers… Fantastic.

Going to turn him into a closet peach eater

The closet is where I eat my cookies so my wife doesn’t see me.

Maybe Earl should tell Opal to get in the closet so she can’t see him eating the peaches.

I love pickled everything…..when the fruits and vegs are at their height I’m looking for more jars!!!

I think that big white sheet Earl used at the dinner table in a previous strip would be pretty good. xxx

WOW…does anyone can anything any more? I think we use a canning jar to hold pens that we never use any more since we do everything on our Galaxy phones.

You all made me hungry and now thinking about going to the u pick orchard tomorrow for some freshly picked peaches. They are in their prime now, and I have a recipe for peach cobbler that is made in a crock pot.
