Don’t worry, Robert the Plant. Roberta, your wife, has your clone ready. Clovis doesn’t know. You will be back.

No, no no. Today’s trend is to say something like “We ALL are Groot”.

I still think Robert went home with someone else after the movie.

I long for the day a Robert the Plant storyline ends differently. And, then I remember what happens to all of my plants and know that it can never be.

Blue Skies, Robert the Plant #27.

Down under the house, Roberta the Plant is growing the clone of Robert the plant. Even if Robert the Plant went home with somebody else, she will now have a spare.

Roberta the Plant has finally grown her husband back to what he was before Clovis got to him. She puts him back in the room while Clovis is asleep. He wakes up and sees Robert the Plant, just like he was before Clovis finished with him. Clovis screams in fear.

Clovis will not be stopped this time. Clovis rips Robert the Plant to pieces. Unfortunately for Clovis, Robert the Plant has altered her husband’s DNA. It seeps into Clovis. Suddenly, a leaf starts to form on the hand of the soon-to-be Clovis the Plant.

Another leaf has sprouted from Clovis the Plant. Clovis is afraid. What if he turns into another Robert the Plant and only wants to do good things. Clovis rips the leaf out of his hand and screams from the pain.

Darin hears the screaming and comes running.He sees Clovis and starts laughing at the leaves growing out of Clovis. Clovis does not like this and tries to throw a lamp at him. Unfortunately, leaves don’t hold lamps very well. It drops to the floor.

Clovis doesn’t know what to do. He is becoming nice. It is driving him crazy. With every bit of strength left in him, he tries to throw himself out the window. He drops to the ground, three feet down. Dewey finds him and brings him back inside.

Come on, Lucas, you can do it: take the pencil!, draw!!! Lucas, Lucas!! Yaaaay, Lucas!!! I could plan a pep rally for you if it is required to get you back to the drawing board!

Clovis has a leaf growing out of every part of his body. He wants to help everyone and it’s driving him crazy. What to do? One last thing. If he can get to his room, some of the Clovis-Rex residue is left on the floor. It will counteract the effects of Robert the Plant.

Clovis rocks back and forth on the table and falls off. He rolls into his bedroom and puts his leaves in the residue of Clovis-Rex. He now knows that he didn’t have a dream about Spaceman Spiff and Hobbes. He will repay them just as soon as he takes care of Roberta the Plant.

Spiff!

Clovis is gaining strength. Soon, he will be Clovis-Rex, unlike in his dream. Revenge will be his. He sees Roberta the Plant. Sneaking up behind her, then, a swift lunge and Roberta the Plant is severed from the pot. Rest in peace, Roberta the Plant.

Clovis-Rex is now out of the house. He is headed to Pleasantville to finish what he started in his dream. Calvin and Susie will regret the day they met up with Clovis-Rex.

Robert the Plant has just seen his wife. She has been completely destroyed. He knows it was Clovis-Rex who did it. He doesn’t know what to do. Dewey sees it as well. He tells Darin to call Calvin and gives him the phone number. Calvin will have to stop Clovis-Rex for real.

Lol, Katina. I think I read more of you now than I read of the original strip. Maybe you should take it over.

May have to. I don’t think Lucas is coming back..Calvin has just received a phone call from Darin. Moe has been arrested for stealing from the alien parents while they had their children at Susie’s hospital. He is on trial at planet DORX. He may be in jail for a while. Calvin and Hobbes will have to take care of Clovis-Rex.

Moe has been convicted of theft. He will be serving 10 years on the planet DORX. He will watering plants in the desert. Clovis-Rex is closing in on Pleasantville. He doesn’t think anybody knows. Suddenly, a light shines on him. Calvin is flying towards him. A tree is plucked from the ground and Calvin and his spaceship head towards the ground.

Alvin has crashed. Hobbes is unconscious. Clovis_Rex continues towards Pleasantville. He sees the new hospital. He will make Susie pay for what she did to him in the dream. Her daughter will make a nice appetizer.

Clovis-Rex stomps through the town, crushing cars as he walks to the hospital. Susie is getting all the alien children onto parents spaceships and out of harm’s way. The parents have called their home planets and help is on the way. It may not get there before the hospital is destroyed.

Susie’s hospital is now vacant. Everybody got out safe. Clovis-Rex is about a mile from the hospital. Alien spaceships have arrived to deal with him. They have been scattered everywhere. Susie is calling Calvin, but can’t reach him. Hobbes is regaining consciousness. Calvin isn’t moving.

Hobbes sees the big bump on Calvin’s head. He picks him up and starts towards town, 3 miles away. Susie will be able to take care of him. Hobbes is now mad. It’s the first time he’s been mad and it doesn’t make him feel good. He does know one thing. He will make sure that Clovis-Rex does not do this again.

With all this downtime, I’m slowly beginning to suspect that Lucas is the POTUS.

Calvin is regaining consciousness. Hobbes is almost back to the hospital. Susie sees them and rushes to help. Clovis-Rex is closing in. Susie, Calvin and Hobbes rush to safety. The aliens from the planet Dorx have arrived and are shooting at Clovis-Rex. There is no affect. The death rays simply bounce off. They will have to to something else.

Clovis-Rex sees Moe’s security. He rips the place to pieces. More aliens arrive. There is all out war. Calvin and Hobbes are heading back home to get the spare space ship. Susie is getting all the tranquilizes she can salvage from the hospital. If they can slow Clovis-Rex down, they will have a chance.

Susie has the tranquilizer ready. Clovis-Rex is about to stomp on the children’s park. Suddenly, a gas vapor is sprayed up from the park. Clovis-Rex is dazed. The space aliens now fire every weapon they have. Clovis-Rex is wounded. They may have a chance to save the rest of the city.

Well, since Lucas seems to have had a cardiac or something, I’ve been reading The Mansion of E. If your bored and want to read a web comic longer than War and Peace, I recommend it.

Clovis-Rex is falling to the ground. The spaceships are firing everything they have. Clovis-Rex is being sliced every which way. Finally, he is still. A very large spaceship scoops everything up, leaving nothing behind. Clovis is now on his way to a black hole. The aliens have left the spaceship and it is sent into the black hole. Clovis is gone, for good. Susie, Calvin, Hobbes their daughter and the town are now safe. Clovis will never return. Everyone is now safe. The end. For now, and permanently.

LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Where aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare you??
