But I do think that it’s a mistake to get involved in someone else’s relationship, friends or not. If they don’t get back together, Ted will blame them. If they do get back together but something else goes wrong, Elly and John will get blamed. If everything goes right, Ted and Connie will only credit themselves. No win situation. Let Ted and Connie figure this out and just be supportive friends.

If you don’t scroll back up far enough to see your original post, there’s a good chance it’s in there twice. I always scroll back up to see if it’s been posted twice, and more likely than not, it has. So I just delete one of them.
I have shirts in an array of colors… but avoid certain colors that do not go well with my unfortunately very pale skin tone. I do not wear black shirts, nor pink, nor orange, nor yellow. But, I do wear a variety of darker greens, browns, greys, purples, blues, and maroons. I also avoid white because when I do, it is a food magnet.
Usually I am pretty much in favor of Elly and her actions in the comic. But today, her actions at the end (the violins) and her somewhat bemused expression throughout seem a bit mean and uncaring… both of Connie and of Ted.
My husband wears a pink shirt and wears it with pride. You’d be hard put to find a more masculine man around. However, his shirt says “Real Men Wear Pink!”. He and I are BOTH survivors of breast cancer. Yes, men do get breast cancer. If you said to my husband “you must be gay because you’re wearing pink” he would cold cock you and walk away.

I guess John couldn’t wait to get home to tell Elly everything that happened between him and Ted? Isn’t that some kind of invasion of Ted’s privacy?

How right you are, duck. Many friendships have broken up because the friend agreed with the aggrieved party in an argument or temporary separation.
