I’m happy to report that the only one of the example criteria in your link that applies to me is that I drive an SUV. I hope that it is mitigated because I do drive it places that require high clearance and four wheel drive.
It occurs to me that the Bridge and Tunnel people are looked down upon because of their blind adherence to popular attitudes of what is culturally acceptable. OTOH, the hipsters, or non-B&T people are also driven by their own conformity to a different attitude of what is culturally acceptable.
