When Eugene received his diploma, as part of the very first class to graduate from Ballard County Billiards Club and Business College, Professor Ambrose shook his hand, and said to him, “Now go out there, young man, and set the world on fire!”
Hi everyone from Las Vegas, 87 today, no we’re not on the strip we’re at the Aliante in our old neighborhood. Leaving for Carlsbad CA on Sunday,See you all on Monday. No fires here!
Bev, Welcome to San Fransisco. Can I offer you a beer while you watch the game? I know you don’t like those “chewy” beers so how about one (or three) of these?Click image for lager viewor Click HERE for labelIf you wondering about that red line, well, if some one (hopefully not a Royal) were to hit a ball along that line it would land in my pool. That’s if they hit it up about 1200 feet and out about 15.3 miles.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyXJ1sAQtaY--BEV, thank you for that long over due video on the intelligence of cats yesterday. It is very apropos, I think. :-)Fireman, another Madame Beviek Golden ale for my friend.
Eugene looks quite gleeful that he has burned his paper trail, but he forgot that his efficient Office Administrator Millie always duplicates everything for him in case of fire. She would be happy to produce that document for the person on the phone if she doesn’t get the raise she wants.
X … wow… and now beer! Hope it comes with a harness, or a tether of some sort…. that stuff is incredibly light!
It looks great…. I mean…. to look at…. since I prefer to drink the chewy stuff.I’d ask if there’ll ever be a dark and heavy version….but… sigh…. I know Madame Beviek’s idea of beer… or something that almost but not quite looks like beer…. so I doubt it.Bev… you’d better at least hold on to something when you hoist it so you don’t float away!
BTW, X… dunno whether that one little “typo” is on purpose but it’s perfect… LOL
And how big is a pint of beer in Canadia? That can is over 25 ounces.I thought everything you guys bought came in those little graham thingies…but beer is bigger than graham crackers…or are they graham biscuits up there?Anyway, I’m sure people want a pint of beer when they go out…(though in the US you usually don’t get one)but I don’t know whether Canadian beer glasses are US pints, Imperial pints…. or some kind of metric graham-ish kind of thing.
I think that it may be the bubbles in the beer that make one float away. Something like champagne bubbles. Mdme. Beviek’s EXTRA Light, er, LITE makes ones head lighter than a helium balloon, and one’s voice just as funny as a chipmunk’s voice, or Daffy duck. But I like the idea of floating out of the ball park after the game. Beats rush hour traffic!
Shika… well, I’ve heard it’s kinda crazy in Canadia….that arctic air, you know…. ozone or something…but I’m glad to hear it isn’t so crazy that you put your beer in graham crackers.
Bev… so nice of you to offer me x_Tech’s beer. And to celebrate your guys stealing a game…no doubt by cheating…ooops…did I say cheating?Sorry…. I mean …. by… um…well, the only way I can think of is …I dunno… cheating?
Then again, there may BE other ways…I just don’t know much about baseball…..

Took him 46 years, but he may be about to do it!

And no, that is NOT a political commentary on Pres. Obama. It applies to any administration in the White House.

Bri … just have a Madame Beviek’s Extremely Light…. if you like that sort of thing….and float away….
The Monkey and I were just talking about stocking them in theTiki….but he may need to reinforce the roof over the walk-in.

Bev… as long as you’re not crying in it….I guess it’s whatever floats your boat.
A bilge-ful of Madame Beviek’s Extremely Lite could float most boats, I think.

Ooops again… I meant it was nice of you to offer me x_Tech’s champagne.
Too many comments ago to fix it.
