Someone already took out the hope and used it to fuel his 2008 campaign. But it was nice of him to leave the coupon in its place.

Actually, Pandora opened a Grecian urn; her box is another story…

I never really understood the story … don’t you want hope out in the world, offsetting all the evils that were released? Why would you want it stuck in a box where no one can get to it?

When I read that first panel, I thought it said ELVIS had escaped. Not sure if that would be good or bad.

Sometimes I wonder if Digital Frog isn’t a guise for one or more of the cartoonists…nobody gets someone else’s sense of humor that well. :))

P.S.: Wikipedia explains how “Pandora’s box” was in fact a jar, historically speaking, and how “box” came to be used (via a translation into Latin). I’m sure sources closer to home do as well.

I think some of those America’s Roast Beef’s (especially with cheese) are causing some of my ailments but I love me some of those curly fries.

Take it to the one on ‘Restaurant Row’ (there’s such in Orange CA). They have to be much better than the average bear, just to keep open in the fierce competition. Even the Carl’s Jr. was pretty good.

Jo Jo, hope wasn’t “kept” in the box – it was too weak to fly out with all the others so it stayed behind.
