Oh, Lio, that’s just wrong…

“Fire in the hole!”

I’m not sure how powerful those cheaper-by-the-dozen incendiary grenades are, but nevertheless I like Lio’s idea, combining work with fun and with flashy explosions! What could be more fun?

I love the smell of leaves burning in the morning.

It’s one way to get the leaves raked.

This sounds like a Myth Busters method of leaf removal.

Just the one is probably more than enough, even in separate piles.

Uh oh.

He should have taken a page out of Steven Wright’s book, and got the flamethrower. Great for that coming winter snow.

I guess Lio’s dad won’t let him play with matches.

I loved having piles of leaves burning at the curb when we were young – kids now will never know that (or even jumping in them first, probably). It’s a shame.
