Thanksgiving Yet to Come – Black Friday Takes Over the Holiday. What, you mean it hasn’t already?..There’s a sign over at our local Nordstroms saying they will not celebrate the next holiday (that thing in December) until the previous holiday (Black Friday, er Thanksgiving) is over. Yeah, sure you will, ducky…
A group of people calling themselves the Leftovers will dress in baggy white clothes, keep drumsticks in their mouths, never speak, and follow Black Friday shoppers around.
The incessant faux moralizing about what others do with their time and their money is annoying. Participate or not, but stop whining about another person’s choice.
There’s nothing that says a person HAS to go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. If everybody stayed home, and kept doing it year after year, the stores would eventually get the message.

In the spirit of this strip’s arc I would say that the left overs become scratch and dent sale items when the new inventory arrives.

Gal Mart? I may have to go there some time soon. I’m always shopping for a new gal, after all.
