    I don’t get Frazz’s comment.

In my experience, deer camps more closely resemble the Campfire scene from Blazing Saddles:

The closest I could find, so far, was 2T Moto, a motorcycle company out of Toledo, Spain. Could be a race sponsor, but it doesn’t jibe with Frazz’s bicycle mania. Maybe for the helmets?

Maybe since you can’t see all of the shirt, it says R2D2 since 2D is in the middle.

Night-Gaunt49: The delegate from the other side of the state agrees. Actually, it is an invasive species, not native. It is a weed in that it can take over a pasture, and being a desert plant, it can absorb a massive amount of water when it’s available, thus promoting desertification. Marginal as firewood, but makes great coals for cooking – maintains an even heat for quite a while.

I think it was down around Uvalde that I noticed that I could see for miles over the top of a whole forest of mesquite “trees”. More like scrub.

I’m tall, but I’m not that tall.

Perhaps coach has a lingering odor from the campfire?

thebird55: It had probably been “mowed” a few years earlier, by two tractors dragging an anchor chain between them. It cuts down the trees, but leaves the massive network of roots barely disturbed. What you saw was 5-10 year-old second (or more) growth babies. With sufficient water, they can get 15’ tall and live a long time.
