Have never understood the big deal about selfies ,people have been doing it for decades with a mirror. Text messages are just modern telegraph. Many things we do where done before we just put a new spin on them!

Nothing new with selfies. Self portraits have been done for centuries. Sometimes I think that Rembrandt was his favorite subject. Not to be outdone by Van Gogh, DaVinci, Frida Kahlo and Andy Warhol. Maybe cave paintings were just that. Self portraits of the artist in the hunt.

Why do thing they make them so slick?

You’re thinking of the old ones that you’re wanting to replace. The new ones you want to keep are much more fragile.
