The point is, stay out of Afghanistan.

We should have just armed the freedom fighters! What could possibly go wrong with that strategy?

Actually, it’s about learning the wrong lessons from history. Everyone is always fighting the last war when they get started with the next one.

As long as they stay wary and don’t start a war that’s fine by me!
