This brings back memories of a Christmas when I was visiting my sister in Washington State. As a Southern Californian, I had never had a white Christmas, and since it looked like snow on Christmas Eve, I prayed for a white Christmas. When I woke up in the morning to a thin dusting of snow, I thought my little nieces and nephews would be thrilled! They weren’t. They had gotten bikes for Christmas and couldn’t ride them. Boy, did that make me more careful about what I pray for!

don’t say that chant here Alice, some of our local schools have already used more than their 5 snow days and are already losing part of spring break

I still love it! I felt the same way Alice did when I got up this morning….sadly, it looks as though it’s getting ready to stop…

If Alice is old enough to create snow, then she must be old enough to help shovel the driveway.
