Since I missed most of the strip(it wasn’t in newspapers where I lived), this is all new to me. I have to admit that this particular arc contributes to my contempt for attorneys…

Judging by how realistically Trudeau drew this attorney, he is based on a real person. Never meant to be a character in the script. I wonder who it is? It’s too bad Trudeau is too busy doing other things, I’d love to read his annotations on these old strips…

Now that it is 2015, can we please return to new material???

I thought Duke’s attorneys were Dewey Suem and Howe (props to the Stooges here).

I’m pretty sure I also heard Soupy Sales mention them in a movie from 1966, Birds Do It. I think they’ve been used by several people in show biz.

Has anyone bothered to call the deceased? (only in a comic strip would that line make sense…..)

I believe at least one law firm in the Stooges world was Goldstein, Goldstein, Goldstein and O’Brien.
