Heart: I don't understand the whole countdown to the new year thing... Heart: We make such a big deal about the stroke of midnight, but nothing ever really changes! Dean: I think it's a magical cinderella thing.... Dean...it's the one time of year that adults believe they can actually change from a pumpkin into a princess. Heart: I guess they believe anything if they're drunk enough.

I have my New Year’s Eve planned. I’m going to make a bunch of snacks, pop in some dvds, fall asleep on the couch, and get woken up by my daughter and her noise makers. Such a party animal I am.

Shrimp, calamari, vegetable relish tray, dip, cheese, etc. A WILD GAME of ONLINE MONOPOLY or CARDS or FRACKLE with hubby and my one son who is still home and a call to the other to wish him a Happy New Year. Few glasses of wine, and probably in bed before the ball drops, LOL!
