I thought we decided we didn’t like monarchies about 250 years ago? I am sure there are much brighter people who can lead us who are not named Bush or Clinton or Kennedy.

Jeb Bush was well liked in Florida and if he can stick to his values and statements without backsliding (the way McCain did) to please the base, I would not be opposed to his presidency. I just don’t believe he’s conservative enough for Republican party in its current incarnation.I also like Jim Webb over Ms. Clinton, and for that matter, Mark Warner. It’s likely our options will be made by talking heads, corporate partisan media, and a surplus of money that, instead of being used to create jobs, innovation, and invention in the USA, will be used to get political tools into the House, Senate, and White House.Respectfully,C.

If either Hillary or Jeb win, it will most likely be a continuation on W’s trajectory.

It’s good to remember that the Bush family fortune, including JEB’s is because of the family relationship with the Saudi royals.

George H. and George W. have been bag boys for the Houston oil interests and the Saud family all their careers. I would not expect Jeb to act any differently.

As little as that requires, he does seem smarter than his brother. (But maybe more corrupt.)
