Wait til Warren does his Clown Magic show, I’ll bet Fred’ll “get” it then. Actually Fred wanted to watch the Basketball game, but Freida made him attend Linda and Warren’s party for fear of being called Aloof. Last summer when she lost her contact and couldn’t identify anyone at the picnic, she was labeled Stuck Up. She is sensitive you know, and just look at her, she is trying sooo hard. Too hard.
I always knew there was something a little funny about Linda and Warren.
Even the Monkey noticed….no joke… he asked me whether I thought they had a funny look in their eyes….
So I’m glad there’s no funny business going on…well, I mean… there IS…but it’s…. well… it’s …Oh, you know what I mean.I know you do.Just try to humor me.
Well I was going to comment on Mr. Sourpuss back right, but you’ve all beaten me to it. Glad to see Linda & Warren are trying to loosen the crowd up with a little vino, though Fred seems to need a glass. Or two.
Susan, I seem to be coming down with a cold. Do you think the monkey could make me one of my father’s special hot toddys? He used to say they won’t cure the cold, but after 2 you won’t care. A tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of lemon juice (more or less, adjust to taste), a good generous glug or 2 of brandy, and fill mug with boiling water.
@Shikamoo (yesterday)…. that’s why I said “elderly and old”…. I didn’t think there were any on this site. I got the impression that you were all a bunch of lively, young and vibrant ladies..I like that back-pack you showed. If it were taller, with wheels amd some form of handle, I’d buy one.

Looks like Fred’s only interests are drinking wine and judging people… (Perhaps he needs one of those wonderful neck massages…)

Someone called me aloof, but it rhymed with oaf, so I thought they said I was a loaf. That was a crumby thing to say.

I’m not sure if you saw that I put your name on the cake JP Steve, and the filling is cicada paste, just the way you like it!
