Which is worse, the government or big insurance companies? At least the gov’t does not have the ever-present profit motive to screw you out of health benefits. Medicare is great: show your card, get a bill for the co-pay in the mail.

Everyone is treated the same, providers will tell you if something is not covered. We have Medicare and we love it, put everyone on it and let the insurance companies administer it [as they do now] and peddle supplements.

It’s not a dictate, it’s a recommendation.Doesn’t the Preamble indicate “promote the general welfare”?In any case, I’m sure all those that despise the government have opted out of that evil Medicare.

I love the proposed nutrition labels. Makes it easier for people like me who want to eat healthy to find healthier options when companies are dumping bushels of sugar in all their products.

If you don’t want to eat healthy, don’t look at the labels.

Low fat = high sugar / low sugar = high fat.

There’s no time for a sense of humor when the black helicopters are coming for you.
